As a Senior Tools & Technical Designer, you will work directly with the Game Director to develop tools, identify and fix workflow issues, and facilitate communication with other disciplines to increase efficiency of the design team. You will see content from the planning phase through full implementation and testing. Many tasks require technically capabilities such as working directly with Unity systems and writing C# scripts for functionality.

- Systems & Tools Implementation - You’re comfortable designing and creating features and tools from the ground up in collaboration with various stakeholders
- Technical Assessment - You’re able to assess potential features to identify problems and make suggestions on how to implement them in ways that maintain design goals
- Bug Bashing - You assist with technical design bugs and help problem-solve in Unity, freeing up our higher level designers
- Cross-Disciplinary Communication - You’re proficient at cross team communication and happy to work with designers, QA, engineers, and more to find the best solutions for the team
- Bang for Buck - You’re capable of assessing cost and benefit in an ever-evolving live-service scenario; you’re able to get into nitty-gritty detail without getting lost in rabbit holes
Required Experience
- 3+ years working on a live service game
- 5+ years or 1 shipped title working in Unity in a technical / design capacity
Preferred Responsibilities & Experience
- Comfortable rapidly-prototyping and iterating on various features, including gameplay
- Familiar with optimization and performance impact of various implementation strategies
- You’re stoked to work on Hello Kitty Island Adventure

The standard base pay range for this role is $80,000-$120,000 per year. Ultimately, your specific range and offer will be based on other factors, such as relevant experience and performance.
